It's true! 7.5% may not seem like a lot, but that is a 200% year after year increase in 10 years. Depending on where you live, it could be even worse; Hawaii saw the largest increase from $0.30/kWh to $0.37/kWh. That is a 19% increase! Avoid rising utility rates and fees, get a fixed solar payment and save thousands of dollars in the process. Best of all, you may also qualify for significant government and other local incentives.
Are you ready to go solar with no upfront charges?

Solar is normally sold on a price-per-watt basis. But as every home has unique circumstances, we will need to build a customized design for your home. We will take a look at available space on your roof and the amount of available sunlight to properly size your system to meet the amount of power consumed on your utility bill.
We use Tier 1 modules sourced from various manufacturers that have been reviewed by a reputable and independent industry analyst for high quality standards, both in their
corporate excellence and in the quality of their products. As Tier 1 is the highest available tier, you can rest assured that the panels you receive are some of the best available.
From a point of view, yes! Your utility likely has what is called a Net Metering program which will credit you for the power that you produce and reduce your overall bill. In certain cases, your utility may pay you out monthly or annually on any excess credits you accrue.
We can connect you with our third party finance partners in order to secure financing for your solar system. None of our finance partners require you to pay a down payment or have any additional upfront costs. Finance payments will normally begin after installation. You will normally have to meet their minimum credit requirements, usually 650+ FICO, and have a qualifying debt to income ratio. You also have the choice to forego financing and pay cash installments at a reduced rate.
The Federal Government offers a Solar Incentive Tax Credit (ITC) which is currently equal to 26% of your total system cost. You will be required to fill out the IRS Form 5695 when filing your income taxes and have available tax liability. If you're not able to claim the full amount, you can claim it up to five years. The IRS provided Notice 2018-59 which established that a solar facility qualifies for the purposes of claiming the solar investment tax credit (ITC) when physical work of a significant nature has been performed; this is best interpreted as the actual installation of the PV modules, racking, or electrical equipment.
Your local State, City, or Utility company may also offer you additional incentives.
While this may not happen in every case, it is possible that your monthly solar payments will be near your current monthly utility payment. The important thing to recognize is that while you may not experience significant first-year savings, you will experience savings over the life of your solar system. Going solar protects you from increased utility rates and inflation. The rate you pay will never increase giving you peace of mind.
In a traditional Solar System all the energy you produce is exported to your utility company to be later credited back to you on your bill. If you'd like to make your energy production independent of the grid, you'll need to install a battery to store your excess solar energy. Please be aware that additional equipment costs may apply for battery backup.
We come fully prepared with a list of third-party licensed contractors to perform any required work to ensure that we can safely and legally install solar on your home. In many cases we will also be able to include the cost of these upgrades with your solar financing. If you'd like to finance these upgrades with the solar, but would also like to use your own contractor, that isn't a problem! All we need is a W9 + Certificates of Insurance from your chosen contractor and you'll be all set!
We offer a 10 Year Workmanship warranty The panel manufacturer may offer either a 10 or 12 year product warranty and a 25 year production warranty. In addition, all of our inverters are backed by a SolarEdge product warranty.
Two 2015 studies from Berkeley Labs show that home buyers across the country have been willing to pay a premium for a home with a solar array. In addition, there is correlated evidence that homes with solar panels sell faster than homes without. In most cases it is not feasible to transfer any existing financing to the new homeowner. However, the outstanding balance can be included in your closing costs and rolled in to the new mortgage.
